One World Arts is a volunteer-based, charitable organization which has been working diligently with Canadian arts and community organizations to educate and mobilize Ottawa-Gatineau citizens on global issues. Please check out our programs, we hope you decide to join us!
A program oriented around global issues that brings arts-based workshops to children and youth. Numerous local artists provide dynamic workshops in a variety of arts: Hip Hop Dance, Slam Poetry, Theatre, Video and more. A Festival is held at the end of the program showcasing their efforts!
With a focus on human rights, social change and environmental issues, the One World Film Festival showcases a wide range of documentary films, community discussions, and opportunities for taking action.
A Luta Continua (“the struggle continues”) provides a weekly window into the work of Ottawa-Gatineau citizens and organizations working on international and local projects promoting social justice, development, democracy, etc. Broadcast at 9:00am every Friday on CKCU, 93.1 FM.
